Crocodile Fingers

Last Friday (11/23), me and my friends Robberto Fernandez and Paulo Ítalo, went to a steak house to have a happy Hour and for receive a special friend, Christopher Kastensmidt, our old boss from SouthLogis Studios in 2006, Chris ask us to make some funny sketches and as paulo asked for "crocodile fingers", I had to draw Paulo trying to NOT think how it had a taste of chicken...

Agent Graves

Recently, I completed my collection of 100 bullets, here in Brazil is now at vol. 11 and it's one of my favorites titles, so trying to find some time to finishing any artwork, I did this piece from Agent Graves, just to put in pratice some techniques that I've been studying, like start painting from grayscale.

It was a short movie called "O Lado de Fora" or in english "The Outside", who tells a history about a boy that tries to live to live despite the difficulties imposed by the world.

Worgen Illustration

Long time no posting, unfortunately, I've been pretty busy on studio I work full time (vesta gaming), 

but on last week, I was back to work after lunch time talking with my friend Paulo Italo, 

and then we pass by a game store and decide to buy a Buster of Word of Warcraft Trading Card Game. 

I realize that would be a great source of inspiration and decide to make (or try) a piece of work with the same quality, I hope when I get the 10th illustration it could be much fast and better than this first one!

For this artwork I make a "step-by-step" to show how I did this study, it was the first time I did something from grayscale value and put all color in the end, color and some details to tell the truth...

So, some time ago my friend Paulo Italo sent me a link of a guy called Jake Parker, and I saw how simple designs can work pretty well!
Inspired on his artwork I did some sketches of brazilians cars, those ones, used to fill the streets in 50's to 80's.

Snack Time!

Draw bears is really fun, they are big, kind of clumsy, and their experssions are so cool. This guy was having a snack time!

Cangaço

These are some pictures/illustration about a character from my home land, those guys were called "cangaceiros", a kind of "pirates" from brazilian's northeast, quite common untill 30's. One more try to improve my watercolor!

New Stuff!!

Hi guys!

It's a long time, since the last time I've post something in my old blog, a lot of changes happened in my life, after almost three years on Vetor Zero working as character design and storyboard artist, I now dedicate my time and my effort on Vesta Gaming as art director and coordinator project. Between tight deadlines and my personal life, I'll try to put as often as I can, some of my ideas ,sketches and attempts in develop something creative and I really hope you absorb and share if you like or not.
